Surprising Weight Loss Tips
My surprising weight loss tip is simple and it’s something everyone has to do it in order to stay alive, although many people do it incorrectly or only partially. Can you guess what it is?
Breathing! Many people, especially women breathe up in their neck and chest. Not only does this breathing make you feel more anxious, it can help to put on the pounds. By doing this shallow type of upper chest breathing, one literally deprives their organs and body of much needed oxygen. Shallow breathing leads to a stressed out nervous system, which leads to increased cortisol in the body, which leads to weight gain.
When we breathe deeply and allow our diaphragm (mushroom shaped muscle) to move all the way up and down, it massages the organs and does a diaphragmatic massage and this helps to prevent the organs from enlarging into middle age spread. To really get more bang out of using the breath and to help shred pounds, one should practice squeezing the abdomen toward the spine at the end of the exhalation because doing this will help to squeeze out toxins and debris in the lungs. Squeezing the abdomen toward the spine at the end of exhalations will also help to tone the abdomen and strengthen the diaphragm.
